Picture it. It's the end of a long week. A week from hell. All your friends are texting you begging you to go out. You consider, because you love them and all, but there is just one thing that you can't get off of your mind. PIZZA. Why is that?

1. That melt in your mouth, never let you go, feel good kind of taste that pizza has.

If you don't agree, I suggest you stop reading this article now. You all know what I'm talking about. After a long week there is absolutely nothing better than biting into pizza's warm, soft crust, cheesy goodness. Letting all of the flavors take over your senses. Sitting back and really letting yourself go.

2. Pizza has very little expectations of you.

It doesn't need you to be all dolled up, ready for a photo-op. It doesn't need you to put on those 6 inch heels, and that tiny dress. No. What pizza wants is big t-shirts, comfy flannel pajama bottoms, and those funny slippers with the bunny ears that your mom bought you when you were 12, that you still shamelessly wear around your apartment. Pizza expects that instead of wearing pounds of make-up on your face, you wear sauce. Red marinara sauce, (or alfredo sauce, if you're into that kind of thing), that you wear proudly because you have no one to impress and you are hungry.

3. It gets delivered.

If I haven't sold you on staying in this weekend with your pizza, instead of heading out for a night on the town with your very best (sometimes) girlfriends already: pizza gets delivered. Right to your door. While your friends probably want you to pick them up and drive them to the bars with you, pizza is happy to come to you. And what does this mean? This means that those flannel pajama bottoms you have on, the ones you dream about wearing while you're out at the bars, can stay on. You don't have to change to go pick up pizza. You don't have to leave the comfort of your own couch, or stop binge watching Shameless on Netflix (I know you're all doing it, if you haven't already). Pizza shows up, you sign a slip and then you're in for a night you will NEVER regret.

If you're really lucky, you might even have some really amazing friends who decide that late night pizza is better than going out to the bars, too. If that's the case, put on those pajamas, take off that make-up, get your best friends together, put on that show you have all been dying to watch, and indulge in the best recipe known to man. Pizza.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
