Every Halloween Season, starting in September, Disney World starts putting on their annual Halloween Parties. The Halloween Parties are on specific dates throughout September and October. Within these parties are characters you Don't really get to meet such as all Seven Dwarves, Cruella De'Vil, Lotso, The Queen of Hearts and many many more. The rides are open along with lines for treats! The Halloween Parties also have special Fireworks and stage shows and special parades! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one no one should miss.

1. HalloWishes.

HalloWishes is the Halloween version of their regular wishes Fireworks. It's one of my very favorite things we got to see. The spooky nature of the lights on the castle coupled with the Haunted Mansion music and green and yellow array of fireworks really impressed me.

2. Boo To You

This is their night parade that shows twice. The parade music is probably the best music out of any of the parades, it's by far my favorite! If you haven't heard it, youtube it! The floats are adorable and the dancing is mesmerizing. The grave diggers that come out with shovels and make sparks on the street truly adds an erie touch to the parade however then you see your favorite Disney Character and the contrast between the two things is so amazing to watch.

3. Hocus Pocus

The Hocus Pocus trio arrives on stage after being gone for 23 years and they are looking for some children! Be careful because they have to call upon some evil friends to help put together their potion. We get to see musical numbers with characters such as the Boogie Man, Malificent, the Evil Queen and many other of our favorite Villains. This show happens four times throughout the night so there is no reason as to why you shouldn't see it!

4. Decorations

If you have never been to Magic Kingdom during the Halloween season you really are missing out.

5. Characters!

If you love meeting characters then this by far one of the best times to come. The special appearances by Cruella De'Vil, The Queen of Hearts, all Seven Dwarves, Belle and Gaston together, Tarzan, Genie and Abu and so many more!

6. Treats

You get candy, lots of it! It really does feel like Halloween.

7. Memories

This is such a rare experience and all the things inside that was available is really only available at this time. The shows and parades are only able to be seen at this party and same with a lot of the characters. The experience and memories will truly last a lifetime.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
