10 Reasons Why Your Best Friend Is Basically Your Boyfriend
We heart it

Your best friend can basically act like your boyfriend. She is the first person you talk to when something good or bad happens. You are the best friend and hhe needs your approval just as well. She knows everything about your past and future goals. Everyone knows that you guys are a package deal. Honestly, your best friend just doesn't date her, he dates you as well.

1. Pretty obvious, always there when you need them and would do anything for you!

Whether it's a phone call at two in the morning or a rant about the same guy, it doesn't matter. She is always your go to girl for any issue and you couldn't be more thankful to have her in your life.

2. You can change in front of each other and it’s not weird.

Let's face it, having to leave the room is obnoxious, because we all know that is not the only outfit you're going to try on. It's casual and very normal.

3. Paying for each other's food, movie, or drinks is no big deal!

No one's keeping track! "I'll pay you back" is always said, but never needed. You both have regularly gotten each others drinks at Starbucks. If anything, you would feel offended if they did not let you pay!

4. You guys will cuddle together. Naps and sleepovers are essential!

Every girl has to have a break from going out and watch rom coms with her best friend! And sometimes it's just nice having someone to cuddle with. Friends who nap together, stay together! #TeamNapTime

5. Don’t have a date? No problem, they already picked out their outfit for the occasion!

We've all been in a situation where the guy backed out or there was no one to choose from. Luckily, your bestie will always be your back-up and not feel offended!

6. She is your nurse when you’re sick.

Regardless if it's a dire emergency and you need to go to the hospital or if you just have a cough, she is ready with the NyQuil and crackers.

7. You consult with each other before making any big or small decisions.

From, “should I date this guy” to “should I get pizza for dinner?” you always ask your friend. To answer the second question, yes, you should always get pizza!

8. Don’t like that girl who has the same shoes as you? Good, neither will they!

Fortunately, not liking the same person does bring others together. Maybe it's not one of our best traits, but hey, friendships form and there's nothing wrong with that!

9. When you’re pretty sure there’s a ghost in your room, she’ll protect you with the nearest object.

Regardless if it’s a book or hair spray, she's got your back! Just got done watching a horror movie and you are home alone? You can call up your girl and stay with her!

10. Therapists can be expensive; luckily, you got your girl who knows you better anyway!

They may not always listen to your advice, but it’s okay because you don’t always listen to theirs! It is nice just having a second opinion! She will be your shoulder to cry on no matter how serious or silly the situation is.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing!
