You have no idea what the experience at a music festival is like until you have been to one! Every music festival is unique in their own way and has completely different atmospheres, no matter who you are or what music you listen to. You will be able to find the perfect one for you! They are one of the most stress-free places you can ever be and the environment around you is unlike any other.

Here are the five reasons why everyone should go to a music festival at least once in their lifetime!

1. The community

The people who attend music festivals are all part of a community. Music brings people together, and at a music festival, everyone is equal. It does not matter what your day job is, where you come from, or who exactly you are. At a music festival, everyone is your friend and you are all there for the same reasons.

PLUR is a real thing once you enter the festival grounds. Well, it always should be, but especially here! Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. If everyone in the world followed these values, I bet it would be such a better place!

2. The outfits/fashion

I am sure you have seen all of the different kinds of hairstyles, makeup, and outfits people wear to festivals! You can literally wear anything, do any hairstyle, and put on any kind of makeup, and no one will judge you!

Music festivals are one of the most non-judgmental places you will ever be, and I can guarantee that. From the dresses, bodysuits, glitter, buns in your hair, fishnets, homemade outfits... you name it! Put your creativity into it and embrace it.

3. Activities/things to do

There is so much to do at festivals! Some of them have amusement park rides, like Ferris wheels and the swings. There are also crafts, yoga, bars, theme camps if you go to a camping festival, and some even have lakes/pools/beaches.

At the festival itself, you can see people giving light shows and hula-hooping, a lot of times with LED lights, and being part of the entertainment, too!

4. The people you meet

Do you ever hear girls say how they love meeting drunk girls in the bathroom at parties because they’re so nice? Well, that is how I would describe the vibe of people at festivals, except they are not just girls and they aren’t all drunk!

You can meet people from all over the world, and festival friends are the best friends. They are all so genuine, always making sure everyone is okay, and wanting everyone to have the time of their lives.

5. The experience

You will never experience something like a music festival until you attend one! I prefer camping festivals because you can completely let loose, walk to and from the festival, and meet so many more people that way. You will have the time of your life at a music festival, from the people, lights, music, and activities. There is no way you won't. You can let go of your stress for a couple of days, let your phone die, and just enjoy the vibes!

The best feeling ever is in the middle of the festival looking around at everyone having fun in their own ways, the music blasting, the lights flashing, the beautiful scenery and having no worries in the world, except what artist you are about to see next!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
