50 Reasons I'm Excited To Come Home After Studying Abroad

As study abroad comes to an end, I can’t help but think about how much I’m going to miss Italy. The past three and a half months have been some of the best times of my life, and it’s surreal to think that Milan won’t be my home for much longer. Despite my reluctance to leave I’m am excited to come home to California and feel lucky to call both Santa Clara and now Milan home.

3. Christmas in the Park

4. Chipotle

5. Playing with my friends’ pets

6. Belly laughs

7. My Mom’s cooking

8. Target

9. In N’ Out

10. Catching up with my friends

11. Long drives

12. My makeup!!

13. Hugging my family

15. Talking in English

16. A warm chocolate chip cookie

17. Work out at the gym

18. Going to the movies

19. Walking around my neighborhood

20. Not layering everyday

21. Drinking hot chocolate

22. Having a big cup of coffee

23. Picking on my little sister

24. Listening to the radio

25. Watching the news on TV

26. My Dad’s homemade breakfasts

27. Catching up with my friends

28. My own room

29. Taco Bell

40. Lazing around in my friend’s home like it’s my own

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone does not try to help their self before asking others. How can someone else be expected to help you if you do not first do that yourself? I'm all about helping those that need it when the time comes, however whenever someone does not even attempt to help him or herself first then that becomes a huge problem. As we all have learned, people tend to take advantage of us in one way or another. I am sure we all read this short story when we were younger and it follows that same principle:
