Reasons Why Bob Belcher Is The Best TV Dad

Bob's Burgers has given us so many unforgettable one-liners, situations, and crazy characters, for the past few years. There is no doubt this show is one of the best out there. More importantly, Bob has proven himself over and over to be the best TV dad out there. He has done just about anything for his kids. The Belcher's as a whole are loving, accepting, and completely relatable. Whether it be Tina's puberty, Gene's unique persona, or Louise's troublemaking, Bob has made sure his family are the happiest in the world. Here are a few moments that capture Bob's efforts:

1. When Bob got his legs waxed because Tina was too scared

When Linda couldn't help Tina, Bob didn't mind stepping up and helping his daughter. For a girl, shaving your legs for the first time is kind of a big deal, and Bob made sure to help her out even if it meant ripping hair from your leg with hot wax.

2. And when Bob shaved his mustache so Tina could get her first kiss with Jimmy Jr.

Bob shaving his mustache was huge. This meant giving into Jimmy Pesto just so his daughter could have the perfect birthday. Dad of the year, right here.

3. Honorable mention: when Bob drove prostitutes and weirdos around all night so Tina could have a memorable birthday party

Yep, he definitely loves his kids.

4. And who could forget the time when Bob went undercover as an "Equesticle"

Things got weird, but Bob held on. He survived being drugged and tatted, all after undergoing hours of an intense "Equestranaut" crash course. All this effort was for Tina after she got swindled out of her prized pony doll. I don't think any other dad would go through any of that. But that's what makes him the best.

5. Also, the way he respects his children as individuals is unforgettable

And he isn't embarrassed by them. He has let them explore their emotions, identity, creative sides, and hasn't limited them in any way.

6. Including any uncomfortable moments

Mostly Tina's puberty.

7. He also would do anything for his wife, Linda

Remember the time Bob went all around town just so he could give his wife a special Valentine's gift because he thought she was worth so much more than heart-shaped things? I do, and I'll bet you Bob does too.

8. This means putting up with her strange sister

Whether it's dealing with her paintings of animal anuses or faking an affair with her so Gale (mostly Linda) will be happy is the definition of a good family man. He's been through a lot.

9. Lastly, It's also notable how much effort he puts into spending time with his children

So many late-night burn units. So many spaghetti westerns.

The way Bob shows his love, affection, and care, for his family should be fully recognized. He validates his children's feelings, actively shows his love for his wife, and undergoes literally any possible situation to make his family happy. Thank you, Bob, for setting the bar for TV dads everywhere.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
