No, nothing like how scar is, I happen to love my nephews and niece. The first time I became an aunt, I was about fourteen years old. I sadly missed my nephew's birth and all the other one's after that as well. Being an aunt literally changed my whole life, for the better. Here are things you don't realize when you become an aunt/uncle.

1. The first time holding your niece or nephew, you became super proud of your sister.

Like holy cow, you made another human being! High-Five, that's crazy epic. They look like you what! How are they so TINY!

2. You become a parent too.

It kind of sounds like this : "You know what, I really don't think he should be eating that." "Whoa, don't let him chew on that!" "He's too tiny to do that." "Don't ever grow up."

3. You get super excited over the cliche "Big Moments"

Seeing them crawl for the first time, or babble something that sounds like somewhat a word and freak out alongside their parent.

4. You become a teacher.

I spent a ton of time with my niece and nephews trying to make them say my name first, it never worked but I was very persistent with them. Their sassiness may or may not have come from you.

5. You end up knowing half the theme songs for kids cartoon shows.

Honestly, Bubble Guppies, Chugginton, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse can be more entertaining then most shows on TV, plus you get to sing along with them.

6. You find yourself playing with toys when they aren't around.

Trucks are pretty cool and so are dollies. Don't Judge.

7. Parks are a 24/7 thing.

I've never been to so many parks in my life, also I've never had so many heart-attacks in my life. I don't care if the slide isn't that big I'm still going to be there just in case.

8. Wanting to be there when they first wake up and go to sleep.

Because they are the cutest at that time. They are so cuddle and so love-able.

9. Knowing how important their stuffed animals are to them.

Spending hours looking for their "friends" because they can't sleep without them, ride an airplane, go to the store.Their friends are their lifelines.

10. Watching their parents scold them and wanted to rescue them.

Running to them when they get sent to time out then scooping them up to feed them ice cream because when they cry you cry and that's all just so sad.

11. Opting to stay in with them then going out.

I'd rather watch disney movies with my niece than go out and party. Sorry NOT Sorry. PRIORITIES.

12. Being sad when they want to be independent.

What do you mean you're going to school? What do you mean you have three girlfriends you are literally 4!

13. Becoming that cliche parent who wants a kiss and a hug every five minutes.

Getting sad when they don't kiss you and whine about it until they come back and kiss you.

14. Planning their futures.

He's going to have the perfect girlfriend, play football go to a good college. She's going to be treated the way she should be, etc.

15. Birth Control.

There are times when I am so happy that I can just give them to their parents. I'm cool, I don't need kids for a very long while.

16. Realizing that these little munchkins are your whole world.

These little gremlins have my heart and I'd do anything for them, give them the clothes off my back, give them my paycheck even if I'm struggling. They fill my heart up and that's all I'll ever need.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
