My All Too Real Obsession With Jesse James Decker

It's probably unhealthy, but I don't care at all.

My All Too Real Obsession With Jesse James Decker

If you would have said the name Jesse James three years ago, I would have thought you were talking about the wild west gangster who robbed people, not a country singer.

Well now that I have become a more educated young woman, I know that Jesse James is a country singer who recently married the now New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker. They now have two young children, Vivianne Rose and Eric Jr.

Let me tell you one thing, pure and simple. I am completely obsessed with this family.

First off, Jesse James first hit song, "Wanted" rocks my socks off (listen to it here) She has one of the best voices I have ever heard, mainly because she doesn't sound like all of the mainstream country artists today. She has such a soulful tone in her voice, but also a little bit of a country twang. It's honestly unlike anything I've ever heard before.

Not to mention she's cute as crap. She has a great sense of style, and has her own line of clothing called Kittenish, which is sold here. She also does her own hair and makeup, and often posts Youtube videos of how to get her "sexy kitten" look. That's one of the reasons I have come to like her so much. She is so down to earth, and doesn't seem to be a stuck up celebrity at all.

Now I don't know that much about Eric, other than he is smoking hot and a great husband. His and Jesse's relationship are so #relationshipgoals, it's ridiculous. I think it is so great to have a couple in the spotlight that don't blast every detail of their love life on social media, other than Jessie occasionally referring to Eric as "my sexual" every now and then on twitter.

I can't even.

Then these two beautiful people brought two more beautiful people into the world, Vivianne and Eric Jr. Jesse is one of those people who is just meant to be a mother, and she does such a good job at being one. It's not surprising at all that their kids are the absolute freaking cutest kids in America.

Will I ever become un-obsessed with this family? Probably not. Mainly because they will probably never stop being such an amazingly perfect family. I hope one day to not only look like Jesse James Decker, but to also have such a beautiful family just like hers.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
