If you're familiar with the genre of pop punk music then you should be aware of the band Real Friends. Coming straight from Tinley Park,Illinois the band just released their 2nd full length album, The Home Inside My Head. Their now out on tour and part of 1 of the best lineups a tour can have. The Wonder Years, Real Friends,Moose Blood,Knuckle Puck and Seaway are all playing shows together. To get you stoked for the upcoming California dates here's 7 Real Friends songs to know!

1. Late Nights In My Car

Throwing it back to the EP Put Yourself Back Together is this song. Listening to sad songs in cars is something everyone does and this song explains that pretty well. Give it a listen!

2.Mokena

This is my favorite song from the new album. The way Dan Lambton (lead singer of Real Friends) sings in this song draws you in and you can hear the emotion in his voice. When a band sings a song that makes you feel something, you know the song is good.

Check the song here:

3.Sixteen

At this point in Real Friends' career this is probably a pretty classic song. The lyrics "I find it kind of weird how you find yourself when you have no one" have been stuck in my brain since I heard the song. This is one of the songs that you should be screaming along when you see Real Friends.

4.I Don't Love You Anymore

The 2nd song off their 1st album (Maybe This Place Is The Same, And We’re Just Changing) is this one and it draws you in straight from the beginning of the album. Just like Sixteen, this is a classic and one that should be memorized as well.

Check the song here:

5.Mess

Another tune from the new album is "Mess". The music video just dropped for this song and it's awesome! I really recommend listening to the new album so that you can hear this song.

Check the song here:

6.Short Song

This is another one that has lyrics that stick in my head. It's a very honest song that explains a lot of stuff that happens to people during their lives. Just as the song title implies it's short and right to the point.

Check the song here:

7.Summer

I think this was probably the first Real Friends song that I heard. It got me hooked on this band and I really like jamming to this one at Real Friends shows! Another classic jam and another one to know all the lyrics to!

Check the song here:

Real Friends are playing November 6th at The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles,CA and November 5th at The Soma in San Diego,CA. Be there or be square!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
