I love coming home. I love being able to see my family, getting to cuddle with my dog, and just being able to relax and hang out. I get to eat home-cooked meals that I don't have to make myself and I don't have to focus on homework. I do love coming home, I really do.
Dorothy was right: There really is no place like home. Free laundry and free food — it's basically a college kid's paradise.
And while I did have a great time at home, I am definitely ready to go back to school. I thrive off of schedules and routines. I'm ready to actually wake up at a reasonable time and actually try to look presentable instead of sleeping till noon and laying around the house all day in my pajamas. I'm ready to eat actual meals that I have to prepare instead of just eating whenever I'm bored. I'm ready to be responsible and go to bed at a reasonable time since I have classes in the morning. I'm definitely ready to hang out with my friends every day: I miss them a lot.
While school definitely gets stressful and a bit unbearable sometimes, I love it. I love being able to take classes that interest me. I'm very blessed that I get to have an opportunity like this. I'm can't wait to get back to my classes and continue my education. So thank you, home, for giving me a great two weeks for break. But I am eager to get back to my second home.
