Most college students out there are already starting to make preparations for the upcoming school year as summer is coming to an end. There are a number of things that a college student needs to do in order to prepare. Whether that particular individual is an incoming freshman or a returning senior, it's important to keep these things in mind when one has a few weeks to go before the first day of class.

Order Textbooks

When it comes to being prepared for the classes a student is registered to be attending, they may not know what they are going to be learning. One thing that they do know is the specific textbooks that they need for the classes that they are registered for. The thing is that it's better to compare prices of the textbooks on other sites because the key is to getting a good deal on the books you need. There are expenses to keep in mind and it's best to save as much money as possible to have money leftover for the other expenses one needs to survive at school.

Restock on School Supplies

The TV commercials are starting to appear more often, which is a sign telling one to go to the stores to get the deals for supplies. However, before one is able to rush out to the store, they should look at what they have already in the house or from last year's school year. Whatever they don't have is what they need and it's a good idea to write down those essential items so they don't forget what to buy. It's good to have the ads from the newspaper on hand so one can compare prices to find the best deals at the store.

Think About Dorm Room Essentials

If a student is planning to live on campus, it's important for them to keep in mind of some of the things that they need for when they have their own room. Whether it would be thinking about buying the important items like a mini fridge and a microwave; or maybe it could be about the items to make your room look pretty, it's important to make sure you have the starting items that you will need to make it through the first year of living on your own.

Get to Know Your Roommate

If you are a freshman moving into a new dorm with a complete stranger, it's a good idea to get their contact information so one can text them asking anything you want. It's also good to look at any opportunities in which a college campus is hosting a roommate meet and greet. This is just so one can meet their roommate in person and they can really talk to that person to get the chance to know them more than just through texting.

Figure Out Where Classrooms Are At

This is for when one has a couple of days free before the school year actually starts. Go around the campus to the different buildings and find which rooms they have different classes. This is so you can avoid running around the campus on the first day of class where you have no idea where you're going and end up becoming lost.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
