Why I'm Ready For Autumn

I know it's still July but I can't wait for fall.

AND I know a lot of people are not ready for their summer to end but some people (like me) who just want the autumn season to start already!

Why am I ready for Fall?

I already got my tan! I've finished my main goal this summer which was to get a good tan!

I am done with 90 degree weather and am ready for cooler temperatures. I am really ready for sweaters, jeans, boots!

My first year of college starts this fall! Well it's starts in August but it's technically the fall term. I'm so excited for college, I get to meet new people and finally start my career.

It's finally exceptable to drink hot chocolate! Not that I haven't been drinking hot chocolate in the summer but now people will stop looking at me weird when I drink it.

Starbucks brings out their annual Pumpkin Spice Latte!! Which tastes amazing!!

Pumpkins, witches, corn stalks, the color black are all in season!! With all these things comes Halloween! My favorite holiday! I get to dress up and become anything I want and get to have scary movie marathons with friends, etc.

Witches, crystals, spirits, spirituality, candles, herbs and tea!!

I am a very spiritual person and I absolutely love this time of year because of the witchyness, getting crystals, tea, etc. I love these things year round but these things listed are even more important to me this time of year.

Bonfires!! Burning Wood scent!

I smell this scent in the summer but exceptionally more in the fall! I wish candle makers can get the exact scent of burning wood right and put it in a candle!

Thanksgiving food!!

I love thanksgiving food especially turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, and yams!!! I cannot wait to be stuffed to the max!

All of these things are so why I'm ready for Autumn!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
