A Reaction To The Clown Sightings
WKYT

Recently there have been sightings of clowns all over the nation that have been frightening people. From stories that people have told while they are out and about to the Facebook posts, people all around the nation are freaking out. While I am not saying that they should not be concerned because if a clown popped out of nowhere near me, i would most likey scream bloody murder and run. What I am saying is that people should take precautions when they go out and to stop blowing this out of proportion.

While i realize these clowns are concerning and should be stopped, a few things to keep in mind. These clown sightings started close to the beginning of October, and we all know that Halloween is this month, so one theory that i have for all of these clown sightings would be that people are just getting ready for Halloween early, because to some people, Halloween is their favorite Holiday. Now you can prove me wrong but this is one theory that i have for all of the clown sightings.

Another theory would be that people are just sick in the mind and should really seek counsling. To go around and scare people dressed up as a clown that looks like they are going to murder someone is sick. There are people that are truly afraid of clowns wether they have the normal happy face or the one that looks like they are going to kill you. By these people going around town and scaring people who are already afraid of clowns, this is causing those people to stay in their houses and live in fear even more.

A few tips in case you do run into these clowns, first tip would be to carry something like pepper spray or something to defend yourself if a clown starts coming towards you. If you are in your car and there are garbage cans or things splattered around the road blocking your way and a clown at the end, DO NOT get out of your car, just keep driving. Anotther tip would be to call all clown sightings to the police, there have been clown sightings that people have called the police and the police found the clown and arrested them. If you are the type of person to play pranks on people and think that dressing up in a clown costume and scaring people is funny, i highly suggest that you dont do it, not only could you get hurt by someone but you could get arrested. If you plan on dressing up as a clown for halloween, i suggest you find a different costume because you could be confused for the clowns that have been terrorizing people and you will either get arrested or hurt by someone.

While these clown sightings are concering and frighting, dont let them stop you from doing your daily routines, carry around mase or something to protect yourself if you come across these clowns and dont go out alone, go in groups of people. And if you do happen to run into one of these clowns, call the police.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
