As finals week approaches and the weather grows nicer, there are so many things we'd rather be doing than being cooped up in the library studying. The weather is starting to get nicer and the campus is actually alive for the first time since the beginning of the academic year. Too bad finals are a major vibe killer. There are so many things we'd rather be doing.
1. Beach day
It's warm; we want to be tan and by the ocean. We could always study on the beach, but let's be real, would we actually get any studying done when the water is calling our name?
2. Road trip
Imagine driving along to your favorite playlist with the windows down and just laughing with some of your closest friends. Wouldn't that be so much nicer than studying in a dark, quiet library?
3. Nature preserves
Nature is pretty, the outdoors are pretty, everything but a final exam is pretty. Taking a hike to appreciate nature in Avalon Park is always a good time.
4. Ice cream
What better way to refresh yourself than an ice cream date on a hot summer day? I guess it's a great way to reward yourself from finals studying.
5. Anywhere but the library
As much as we would love to run away from the library, our GPA will thank us and our summer will be as stress-free as it possibly can be.
