A lot of people are going nuts over the hype revolving the diss track "Not Alike" that Eminem (Marshall Mathers) released on August 31 and Machine Gun Kelly (Richard Colson Baker) releasing "Rap Devil" on September 3. Although the track puts a handful of rappers on the roast the Machine Gun Kelly diss stood apart from the others.

The beef dates back to 7 May 2012 when Machine Gun Kelly tweeted "Ok so I just saw a picture of Eminem's daughter... and I have to say, she's hot as fuck, in the most respectful way possible cuz Em (referring to Eminem) is king." Although Machine Gun Kelly played it off as a joke it rubbed Eminem as long as many worldwide the wrong way for his daughter was only sixteen years old at the time.

Although Eminem never spoke publicly on the matter until releasing his diss track but Machine Gun Kelly spoke publically about how Eminem took it seriously and was out to get him. While at an interview with Hot 97 a radio podcast station in 2017 Machine Gun Kelly touched upon the subject stating "I'm my favorite rapper alive. Since my favorite rapper banned me from Shade 45". What he means by this is that he has the utmost respect for Eminem but since he said something foolish when he was a kid he now has to deal with the repercussions of not being able to do business with certain places and people due to Eminem. In his case, he believed that Eminem was out to get him over something that happened half a decade ago.

This takes us to August 31st when Eminem released his diss track "Not Alike" on his surprise album Kamikaze. On the album, he goes on to "diss" many A-list artists such as Lil Yachty, Vince Staples, Lil Pump, and many more. What stood out is he dedicated an entire track to diss Machine Gun Kelly called "Not Alike." Eminem raps "If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun / And I'm talkin' to you, but you already know who the f*ck you are, Kelly / I don't use sublime and sure as f*ck don't sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie." Eminem clearly addressed the 2012 tweet reminding him not to speak about his daughter.

It only took only four days for Machine Gun Kelly to come back with a diss track of his own called "Rap Devil" where he addresses all the struggles that he has been through while throwing "shots" at Eminem. He starts the song right off by saying "Tough rapper paying millions for security a year" stating that Eminem is not the tough guy that says he is. Kelly then follows up with "I think my dad's gone crazy'/yeah Hailie you right.../ Dad's always mad, cooped up in the studio, yelling at the mic", ignoring Eminem's warning about talking about his daughter while calling him crazy.

He goes on to call Eminem's jumpsuits are corny and how since he lives a luxurious life he should stop all the "thuggery" meaning the tough guy persona. Machine Gun Kelly ends his track by saying that Eminem is the greatest rapper of all time but should put down the mic since his last four albums were "trash". From the two diss tracks Machine Gun Kelly emphasizes that Eminem is a hero of his but that he does not stand for his bullying and will stand up for himself. I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
