Ranking Of Villains From The Bachelor/Bachelorette

So at this point, it's safe to assume everybody knows about ABC's television franchise "The Bachelor" and its spin-off The Bachelorette. This reality TV hit follows one man or one woman on their quest to find a fiancé through a pool of 25-ish contestants. It's like any of MTV's dating shows, but way more serious. I mean, a plethora of marriages and babies have come out of this franchise.

But it is reality TV nonetheless so there must be something that makes all the goopy romance watchable and that's where the villains come in. Every entertaining written and reality show has to have someone we love to hate and The Bachelor/Bachelorette gives us just that.

Whether they're contestants who "aren't here to make friends" or ones that have a secret agenda (i.e. promoting themselves/their music/their company) or just downright seemingly awful people, this television series and its 15 year run has given us some amazing villains to love and hate. Here are a ranking of the most memorable from the two shows.

From the Bachelor:

5. Michelle Money

During Brad Womack's second run as the Bachelor, Michelle was aggressive in her pursuit of Brad. She used her sexuality to push herself forward (as most villains do in this series) and tended to rub the other girls the wrong way. But her sexual advances backfired as she was sent home during a photoshoot with Womack after being a little too close for comfort. However, Money has somewhat redeemed herself on the franchise's spin-off Bachelor in Paradise as a hopeless romantic who can't seem to find the right one, all the while helping every girl on the show with their hair and make-up. Points to you, Michelle.

4. Tierra LaCausi

On Sean Lowe's season, Tierra was known for her crying, faking injuries for Sean's attention, and of course that infamous eyebrow. Tierra was a drama queen by definition, but she also had a hard time getting along with the rest of the contestants. She made it pretty far through the season however until Sean saw through her facade after a fight with contestant AshLee Frazier. She stirred up even more drama at the reunion show by trying to steal the spotlight away from Sean and Catherine's engagement by surprising everybody with her own (which didn't last). Whatever. Sean chose right in picking Catherine and they have a beautiful baby boy alongside with great Twitter commentary every Monday night during the show.

3. Courtney Robertson

Doesn't it suck when the villain wins? Well, that's what happened on Ben Flajnik's season. Courtney was a model who was a sweet girl around Ben, but really catty with the other girls. It's hard to like someone that constantly insulted the other girls as well as someone who (unsurprisingly) used her beauty and sexuality to further her relationship with Ben (skinny-dipping anyone?). Even after the show's completion, Robertson was booed by fans at the reunion show. Needless to say, she and Ben didn't last after he saw her true colors during the show's airing.

2. Olivia Caridi

We started with high hopes for Olivia after she got the first impression rose on Ben Higgin's season of The Bachelor but that didn't last too long. Caridi threw some shade at another contestants who was too "Teen Mom" for her taste as well as not being able to shut up about how much more intelligent she was than the other girls. Oh and fun fact: Olivia's mouth has a twitter page.

1. Corinne Olympios

Oh Corinne, how could we forget about you? On the current season with Nick Viall, Corrine has made it to the final four with plenty objection from the other contestants and fans across America. Corinne is another contestant that used sexuality as a tactic to win and who can forget the battle royale between her and "emotionally intelligent" Taylor. We'll give it to you, Corinne-- Taylor made us hate you a little bit less but still. On the bright side, with hometown dates coming up, we'll finally get to meet Corinne's nanny Raquel. Fans even started a GoFundMe "Free Raquel" page that did get quite a lot of donations. Here's hoping Corinne finds her cheese pasta and nap loving soulmate (but hopefully not with Nick).

From the Bachelorette:

5. Bentley Willams

Every girl knows a guy like Bentley: he strings you along, ghosts on you, then comes back just for the fun of toying with your emotions. That's exactly what he did to Bachelorette Ashley Herbert during her season. His chemistry with Ashley was undeniable but that connection blinded Ashley to how awful of a person he really was. When he decided to leave on his own, stating that the show "wasn't an option" for him, he made Ashley cry and wonder about his whereabouts for weeks after the fact. Even worse, he straight-up said "I'm gonna make Ashely cry" during his little interview on the show. We're glad Ashley ended up with J.P. and the two have a wonderful child and another on the way. He wasn't worth your tears anyway, girl.

4. Kalon McMahon

Oh my gosh, did this guy have the most punchable face. Kalon made quite the appearance coming from a helicopter the first night on Emily Manning's season. Kalon was the classic rich boy who flaunted his wealth and thought it made him superior to the rest of the men. Kalon didn't last long after he referred to Emily's daughter as baggage. He showed up on "Bachelor in Paradise" seasons later though nothing really came out of it.

3. Nick Viall

Yes, Mr. Bachelor himself was once a villain on not one, but two seasons of The Bachelorette. First on Andy Dorfman's season then on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season, Viall managed to get busy with both girls before securing the final rose. It's no wonder he and Corinne are getting along so well. Viall seemingly redeemed himself after multiple stints on Bachelor in Paradise which is debatable) and the producer were tired on Nick constantly coming on the shows so they gave him his own chance. Nick hasn't proved much difference this time around, but there's still hope. Prove us wrong, Nick. Please.

3. Juan Pablo Galavis

Oh, Juan Pablo, so handsome yet so terrible. Galavis is another case of villain-turned-Bachelor except we didn't realize how awful he was until he had 25 women to choose from. Galavis stole our hearts as a Venezuelan heart-throb on Desiree Hartstock's season of The Bachelorette even though he was eliminated pretty early on. However, Galavis used his turn as the Bachelor only to score with beautiful girls and didn't even propose at the end of it. Instead, he and Nikki Ferrell endured a tumultuous relationship following the show and even endured a season on VH1's Couple's Therapy. Needless to say, they are no longer together. But es okay.

1. Chad Johnson

This wouldn't be a complete list without Chad Johnson from Jojo's season of The Bachelorette. This meat-loving, weight-lifting tough guy managed to anger and even scare the other contestants during the show, only making friends with the quirky Canadian Daniel Maguire. Chad didn't play along to any of the rules and even threatened quite a few of the other men. Jojo sent Chad home halfway through, but he appeared again on Bachelor in Paradise though not for long after insulting Sarah Herron for her one arm. Not cool, dude. Johnson was exactly what this show needed though when it came to villains. He was the ultimate bad guy and we can't thank him enough for the entertainment.

Happy Bachelor season everybody and congratulations to the franchise's first ever black Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay-- cause it's about time this show got some diversity!

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
