Ranking the top 10 Obama/Biden memes

Memes of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden have been sweeping the internet, making an appearance on many different social media platforms. These memes have taken the playfulness of Joe Biden and turned his professional alliance with President Obama into an admittedly immature and unprofessional relationship all for the comedic pleasure of viewers at their computer or phone screens. They take candid pictures of the President and Vice President and caption them with humorous dialogue. Apparently, this ploy has been extremely successful as these memes have multiplied and spread like wild fire. Some are extremely funny while others are just bland and distasteful. In this article I will rank the top ten Obama/Biden memes in my professional opinion.

Starting at number 1:

1. The OG

This was one of the first Obama/Biden memes to grace the internet and in my opinion, it is the best. Just a classic bromance between the two most powerful men in the United States. Completely surprising, yet tastefully endearing.

2. The hoax

Another great one playing off of the idiotic belief held by some people that President Obama was not born a U.S. citizen. Joe, being the prankster that he is, wants Barack to use this to his advantage to mess with President-elect Trump.

3. Oblivious Joe

A simple and playful meme insinuating the naiveté of Joe Biden. Biden assumes that he and Barack will still be living together even after Donald Trump takes office. Obviously this isn't the case and Obama is trying to tell Joe that but he still doesn't get it. Classic Joe.

4. Sneaky Joe

Another simple, yet elegant meme. Joe is up to his childish antics again attempting to sneak up on Barack while subtly humming the theme song from Jaws. The accompanying picture coincides well with the meme as Joe is attempting to be sly in the background.

5. The Krusty Krab

If this needs to be explained, please do yourself a favor and go back to your childhood. This time, watch Spongebob.

6. Pence has pens

Very simple play on words. Joe being Joe. Not extremely funny, but pretty clever. Also, notice the smirk on Obama's face. Must be tough dealing with all of Joe's shenanigans.

7. Don't leave

Another example of Biden being childish. He doesn't want Barack to leave him alone in the Oval office. Outside of the meme, I am still trying to figure out why this picture was taken in the first place.

8. Cheetos

This sophomoric meme is a play on people constantly referring to Trump as having unnaturally orange skin. Once again, this must have been a very awkward picture in real time.

9. Joe in time-out

Another example of Joe being childish and Barack having to act as his guardian. Sad Joe.

10. The meme craze

This is not a meme but rather a microcosm of the Obama/Biden meme obsession.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
