Many Netflix shows come in and out of our lives, but some hold a special place in our hearts forever and "One Tree Hill" is one of them. "There's only one Tree Hill and it's your home."
The cast, the music, the storylines are pretty much memorized at this point. However, the show would be nothing without its epic characters, ranging from girl bosses to pyschos to the most known of them all: bad boys. They have broken many hearts, cheated on girlfriends and have even dated the same women. Don't get me wrong — we love the male cast dearly, mostly because of how hot they all are. But if we're being real, they've all had their fair share of douchebag moves each season. It's time to see once and for all how the men of "One Tree Hill" compare on the badboy scale.
Here are the rankings:
10. Jamie Scott
Obviously, adorable little Jamie Scott is the least badboy of them all. Seriously though, he couldn't hurt a fly. But you can't represent the entire male cast of OTH without this kid. Plus, when you're a Scott, being a badboy is practically in your blood. The extent of his "badboy" endeavors involves his crush on a girl at school named Madison, who he confessed his feelings to at their school dance, until later having a
You can't deny that you just want to pinch his cute little cheeks every episode.
9. Julian Baker
You can't not love Julian Baker. He's a total heartthrob and has been pining over Brooke Davis since day one. He's far from a badboy because he never cheated or juggled girls, which is a rarity for an OTH character. Sure, he dated Peyton for a hot sec (surprise, surprise) but that was before Brooke. His only badboy move was using a girl named Missy as his date at a wedding to make Brooke jealous, but he later made up for it. Julian fought off his badboy instincts when Alex Dupré tried to seduce him, confessed her love for him and threatened to kill herself because he didn't feel the same way. After all that girl drama, he finally found his way to Brooke and they turned into the power couple that they were destined to be.
Julian is a keeper for sure.
8. Mouth McFadden
Mouth is a pretty weak example of a badboy but nonetheless, he has had his moments here and there. Millicent was literally the only girl that truly gave Mouth the time of day, but of course, he found a way to complicate things. He had a brief thing with his co-worker Gigi which pissed Millicent off and would have flings with other girls who just didn't measure up to him and Millicent's relationship. It took a while, but they realized they belonged together and Mouth dropped his poor attempt at being a badboy because he is way too nice to even be labeled that.
7. Nathan Scott
By the end of the show, Nathan is a total DILF and our hero, but we can't give him an all-star ranking due to his badboy past — which is a shame because it's not his fault he had to get Dan as a father. Nathan was your typical dumb jock in high school and was initially only interested in Haley just so that he could piss off Lucas. Well, joke's on him because he ended up falling head-over-heels for that girl and married her. It's funny to think about Nathan being with anyone else but Haley but he actually first dated Peyton, who he would constantly cheat on, talk about badboy alert. And where there's a mention of Peyton, there's obviously a mention of Brooke. She had a sex tape with Nathan.
Nathan soon realized Haley was the girl of his dreams and redeemed himself by creating the perfect family and a marriage that many would call #goals.
6. Clay Evans
Clay's journey to full-on badboy status is an interesting one. He fell in love with a girl named Sarah at college and thought she was "the one," but it was ended by Sarah's untimely death which tore Clay apart and made him never want to love again. So, to cope, Clay went through a stage full of one-night stands where he would sleep with tons of women in an attempt to get over Sarah. Obviously, that didn't work. Haley's sister, Quinn, came to the rescue by being perfectly compatible with Clay.
He finally drops his badboy ways and settles down with Quinn, turning out to be a decent guy after all.
5. Antwon "Skills" Tanner
Oh Antwon, you're a character. He started off the show in an innocent relationship with Bevin. Then, things took a scandalous turn when he took up online dating as a hobby and found out that the woman he has been talking to is no one other than Nathan's mom, Deb. Yup, that pretty much sums up Skills' claim to fame. As you can imagine, Nathan was pretty pissed but lucky for him, it ended quickly after Skills brought up having kids and Deb was like "I'm out." For the rest of OTH, we couldn't look at him the same way again. Skills had to be ranked in the top five for severely crossing the line by getting with his friend's mom.
4. Chase Adams
If that quote doesn't describe the badboy mantra, I don't know what does. Boys like Chase aren't the commitment type. While Chase is semi-irrelevant, he has proven himself to be just as much of a douchebag as the rest of them. Similar to Lucas's scenario, Chase struggled with deciding between Alex Dupré and Mia Catalano. He had on and off relationships with both of them because staying loyal to one girl is just so hard, right? Finally, he came to his senses and chose Alex but then of course, he's right back to being a giant idiot when he sleeps with Chris Keller's girlfriend, Tara, who literally puts "Not Alex" as her contact in Chase's phone. Talk about savage af. But who isn't on this show?
3. Lucas Scott
Even though we will forever be in love with Lucas (insert scene where he tells Brooke Davis "If you need to hear why I love you I can go on all night"), lets be real — he's high up on the badboy scale for being in a love triangle with Peyton and Brooke and getting in the way of their friendship. You can't be in love with two girls at the same time, bro. He kept going back and forth between them and it was really annoying, TBH. And we can't forget the time he got with that crazy redhead Rachel just to make Brooke jealous. Or the time he was planning on marrying Lindsey...c'mon man, she's no Peyton Saywer. Lucas was never the type to have his love life together. He may have a romantic side, but us real fans know that Lucas Scott can be a total player. And if you're wondering: yes, still salty he got cut from the show.
2. Dan Scott
The man, the myth, the legend. While we all know that Dan is easily the
Dan Scott, you are the absolute worst.
1. Chris Keller
Every OTH fan knows that Chris Keller is hands down the ultimate badboy of the show. The way he constantly refers to himself in third person gives off a badboy alert right off the bat. He is notoriously known for being a tool and hooking up with every girl he lays eyes on. Not to mention, one of Keller's specialties is trying to break up relationships. Whether it be going after Haley while she's married or that time when he screwed Lucas over by sleeping with Brooke. He's way too full of himself and cannot be trusted. Whatever you do, save yourself the trouble and do not get romantically involved with a badboy like Chris Keller.
We love our OTH boys with a burning passion but we know that they're occasionally guilty of having a badboy rep. But honestly, we wouldn't want it any other way.
