Ranking My Friends' 2019 Halloween Costumes

In This Article:

Halloween is right around the corner, and rather than embarrassing myself and rating my childhood costumes, I decided to throw my friends into the mix.

At this point in the year I'm pretty sure we were all sick. We were living off of a few dollars. We were ready to go home. We did what we could with what we had.

1- Baylee

Baylee executed the Top Gun outfit flawlessly. I also ranked Baylee number one for the functionality of the Top Gun costume. It was great for the chilly temperatures outside. Sadly, Baylee does not read my articles so he will not see his recognition.

2- Nicole

Nicoles butterfly costume is iconic, but not enough to earn her the top spot on the list. Sorry, Nicole.

3- Grace

Grace went for a cupid makeup look last year. Unfortunately, she was not able to go out as she is a star student who stayed in Halloween night to study.

4- Annmarie

Annmarie was a disco girl. This is a basic costume, however, Annmarie loves Halloween so much that she got over her sickness to come out. Her dedication to Halloween earns her a number 4 spot on the list. Her sunglasses are also very cool.

5- Me

I think I was ahead of the times for this one. Space Cowgirl will be extremely overdone this year by college girls.

6- Courtney

Courtney was a classic cat, but pulled it off well.

7- Mollie, Grace, Gracie, and Grace

The "Graces" and Mollie. They all only wore cat ears, earning them last place on my list. The Grace on the far left appears to be wearing wings of some sort. These 4 have plenty of room for improvement in 2020. Sorry ladies.

Happy Halloween!

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? I mean I went through four years of tough classes and serious self-searching (and crying). What I found overall was Senioritis sneaking up on me.

You might not see them everyday anymore, but you're still friends and your text messages prove it.

It takes a little while to get used to not seeing your high school best friends every day. College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
