Random Acts of Kindness on College Campuses

College has its ups and downs, but there are things that could be done to make things here a little easier. According to a few sources, there is a week in February that is "Random Acts of Kindness Week", but why can't we just do random acts of kindness all of the time?

Compliment or smile at least five people.

You will never know how far a smile or a compliment will go in someone's hectic day. It's free and you will feel so much better afterwards.

Let a faculty or worker know that you appreciate them.

Buying a house keeper a starbucks coffee or writing the person that serves you food a nice note would be so kind! That shows that you appreciate what they are doing for you and you're not afraid to show it!

Pay for the person behind you in line.

We are all college students, so the money is sometimes tight, but going to the campus bookstore and buying their items or even going to a fast food place and paying for them would make their day! I think that they would enjoy their job even more.

Donate used books to the library.

There are books that we've bought, tried to sell, and had no luck. Donate those to the closest library! Libraries love books and you weren't doing anything with the book anyway.

Leave a coupon behind.

Even if it's at the grocery store or a restaurant, saving others money is always a good thing!

Let's spread the word, let's start making a difference!

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
