Rainy days can be some of the most boring times during the summer. It stops the ability of going to the beach or being outside with friends. Sure, you can go to an inside mall or other establishments to entertain yourself while it's pouring. Or you can enjoy the great streaming service that is Netflix. Netflix has both movies and TV shows that you can enjoy on laptops, TVs or any mobile device. It is such a great service, espeically for college students stuck in a dorm. There is such a wide selection of everything on here, that you are bound to find some new favorites. Here are the 5 Best Rainy Day Netflix Movies. *No Spoliers In This Article*

1. A Girl Like Her

Such a powerful movie to watch rain or shine. Something that everyone should take the time to watch and reflect on about an issue that has plagued society for years.

2. Hush

If you like scary, thriller movies during thunder and lightening, then this movie is a must watch. It literally takes you on a trip of survival that keeps you on your seat.

3. Mean Girls

Classic movies are always a go to on a rainy day. This movie is something that should be in everyone's library and if you haven't seen it..."You can't sit with us".

4. Across The Universe

Using music from The Beatles, this awesome movie takes on the issues of life, love and surviving through the ages. Truely a great visual that is really enjoyable.

5. Cadet Kelly

Another amazing classic, anytime you can relive your childhood you should deff do it. Even at my current age (19) I still will never not enjoy this movie and you shouldn't either.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
