5 Things To Be Aware Of On Your First Road Trip With Your Significant Other

So very soon I will be going on a road trip with my boyfriend. It's a 4-hour trip in a small car with just the two of us. Some of the thoughts that are going through my head are:

How am I going to choose the music I like?

Am I going to annoy him even more with my weird questions that I ask on a daily basis?

Am I going to able to handle all of his guy-smells in his car?

Yes, these are some silly questions. However, they are important to me because it's the first road trip I have taken with him. So here are some tips I have come up with to handle the (hopefully) enjoyable car ride with my love.

1. Make sure you do not have a grudge with him/her beforehand.

You know that time you told him to put the toilet seat down and he just wouldn't and then he did it again last night? Do not stress. Most likely it will make your car ride a smidge awkward if you are giving him the evil eye all the way down the road.

2. Find a common ground on the music choices.

If you have different tastes in music, then change the type of music every few minutes to find a common ground!

3. Bring the snacks!

Wanna make sure they are are not grump-buckets? Feed them! Good snack foods should always work to get their spirits up!

4. Make stops!

Don't just sight see from the car, stop and explore (if you have the time). If you are driving through the mountains, stop at an overlook and see the pretty scenery. If there is a cool tourist attraction, stop there! At the very least, even just stop for a potty break.

5. Still be affectionate.

Lean over and just give them a kiss on the cheek while they are driving! Do not do anything reckless. But just hold their hand and make them feel safe.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
