Quotes To Keep You Smiling

I often find quotes like these in my notes on my phone and have literally no idea why they are there, but sometimes I am so glad that they exist.

They remind me to appreciate what I have. “People will change, memories won’t” is so true to my life, because even though I have lost friends, drifted apart from friends I still remember our good memories together with a great fondness. How can you not?

If you find someone is a bad friend, I don’t think that should taint your memory of the good times you had with one another, it is like erasing a part of your life because of one bad detail and we should not do that.

Here are a couple more quotes that have stayed ingrained in my heart:

1. Best friends are the people in life that make you laugh louder, smile brighter and live better.

2. Life is weird. First you wanna grow up, then you wanna be a kid again.

3. Sometimes you can't explain what you feel for a person.

4. Nothing compares to the stomach ache you get from laughing with your best friends.

5. Tomorrow is never promised to anyone, so dance until your side hurts; say I love you to those you love for tomorrow may never come.

6. If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.

7. If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

8. Don't over think. Don't regret. It's a waste of time.

9. Sometimes the only blessing you need to count is your heartbeat.

10. People will change, memories won't.

11. Life goes quickly and every experience is a good experience if you flip it the right way.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
