Quotes To Get You Through Midterms

Midterms are a lovely time for you to not only realize how much of the semester is left for you to get it together, but also how much studying you can get done in a short amount of time.

So if you're feeling all the weight of your responsibilities and you're struggling to keep going, here are some quotes to help you regain your motivation.

It's okay if you're actually behind; I'm a procrastinator, so I understand. The important thing is still getting started.

Make a goal to get something done every day and you'll soon notice how much progress you're making.

No one is perfect, so don't expect yourself to be. Put in your full effort and be proud of what you can accomplish.

"You can't appreciate the destination without knowing the starting point." -Nervous/System

Remembering your end goal will make the steps along the way worth it.

You're building up the skills you need to have the career you want. Don't waste your time or your resources.

Ask more of yourself and work toward your goal.

Think of what you want to do and who you want to be. Is what you're doing now helping you get there?

When midterms are over, you can look back and be proud of the work you've done.

Don't cheat yourself and try to find ways around the situation; you'll learn the most by facing it head on.

Even if you're stressed out, believe that you can do it and start working. Don't underestimate your abilities, and don't underestimate the amount of time you need to study.

But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
