17 Most Quotable Lines From Your Favorite Animated Movies

Recently, I have found myself saying a phrase and realizing that it comes from one of the many classic animated movies. Now, whenever I say the phrase, I think of the scene from the movie. Here are the most quotable lines that you can use in any conversation, and the instances you can use them in.

"Just smile and wave boys... smile and wave.” - The Penguins from "Madagascar"

Use when public safety drives by you on your long walk home from the frats.

"Remember who you are." - Mufasa from "Lion King"

Use when you get assigned teams or groups by number.

"No, no, no eating here tonight you're on a diet." - Dory from "Finding Nemo"

Use when you are on a diet and trying to resist the temptation of chocolate cake.

"Squirrel!" - Doug from "UP"

Use when you're tired of your friends getting distracted by their phones in the middle of your story.

"I want my cookies!" - Hammy from "Over The Hedge"

Use when you really, really want cookies. Feel free to act crazy too, to scare the others away.

"I like warm hugs!" - Olaf from "Frozen"

Use when you are in need of a nice, warm hug.

"No, you shut up (echo repeat)!" - Rams from "Brother Bear"

Use when you repeatedly have to tell someone to shut up.

"What are you talking about?" - Edna Mode from "The Incredibles"

Use when you really don't understand what someone is saying. Maybe try to imitate the accent for a more realistic quote.

"Ow. I tell you what, ow!" - Bartok from "Anastasia"

Use when you're in pain, but not so much that you can't attempt at the Russian accent.

"It's so fluffy, I'm gonna die!" - Agnes from "Despicable Me"

Use when you win that big, new stuffed animal, or pet the softest puppy in the world.

"He touched the butt." - Tad from "Finding Nemo"

Use when anyone touches anything. Especially a butt.

"But what about bacteria?" - Tantor from "Tarzan"

Use when you are worried about something being dirty. Especially fun to imitate the high pitched "bacteria."

"You deliberately disobeyed me." - Mufasa from "Lion King"

Use anytime anyone does something against your will.

"Dishonor on you! Dishonor on your cow!" - Mushu from "Mulan"

Use this every time you speak with someone you are upset with.

"Two words. Anger. Management." - Sid from "Ice Age: Continental Drift"

Use when someone is way too angry at you, and showing it.

"It's getting hot in here, so take of all your fur. I am getting so hot, I'm gonna take my fur off!" - King Julien from "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted"

Use whenever people complain that it's getting hot in there. It's almost an involuntary response!

"I'm late. I'm late. For a very important date!" - White Rabbit from "Alice in Wonderland"

Use this song, obviously, when you're late for a very important date!

There's nothing better than laughing at yourself or others for involuntarily saying a quotation from your favorite movies when you were a kid. Happy quoting, everyone!

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
