MJ Vs. King James

Sports Mockery

LeBron. Michael Jordan. The same? Or has the young court dominator topped the well- known NBA legend? Many will argue that these two basketball stars are the same, others will say that one is better. How can you compare the two, though?

LeBron James. Known to the world as this generation's MJ. Drafted out of high school, LeBron dominated his opponents and even went head to head with stars, such as Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, etc. To us he is known as " The King" or " The Greatest," the basketball version of Drake.

Michael Jordan. The greatest athlete in history. Known for dropping almost 70+ points a game and creating the most successful shoe brand in the world. He's got wicked shots and multiple championship rings and trophies to show for.

So, how can you compare the two? Is it simply because both men have won back to back titles and MVP awards? Is it because both men have dominated the NBA finals? Or is it because both me are equally successful on and off the court?

Many people can argue stats, points, and averages, but where are the real similarities and differences? MJ, The King. You can't simply just compare the two. Most of the records are set by MJ and the raging bulls, and The King can only break those records in time.

LeBron may be the best of this time, but do you think he would be able to keep up with the stars of past generations? Stars such as Allen Iverson, Larry Bird, or Wilt Chamberlain. A match-up between LeBron and Kobe is already enough, and saying that LeBron is better than, or almost as good as, Michael Jordan is a stretch. It's like saying he's better than Kobe, or Allen. There's no way!

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
