When I say, “God has a plan,” I mean it. I also cannot deny the truth that the Devil is very much real and so is the evil he inflicts upon our world. Here on earth we are living in the Devil’s world, and sometimes we fall to his traps. This is what gets in the way of “God’s plan.” It isn’t the catastrophic or devastating events that God wishes on us. He wants to help us get out. Rather you can see His works in progress in the way that each and every one of us responds. When something bad happens it is our human nature to get mad, lash out, be sad, and sulk about the issues rather than dealing with them. That is precisely the reaction that the Devil wants.
That being said, I am pleading to all of the “Trump haters” to quit falling into the Devil’s hands. I understand that you are upset your presidential candidate didn’t get chosen. I am too, but I am more upset with your reaction to her loss. I am sick and tired of it.
Do you really think crying, tweeting, attacking people, violent protests, and not going to your job is going to make a difference in the long run? It’s not. Frankly, it’s making you look pathetic. Instead of crying, band together with those with views like you. You will see God’s work in the way that you hold on to your beliefs and work together. Don’t feel like you have to hide or be ashamed of anything about your sexual orientation, gender, skin color, religion, or anything at all. This is the 21st century; be proud of everything that makes you, you. If there is anything we can learn from other tragic events in our lives it’s that good always triumphs over bad. It may not be right when we want it. It’s going to take time. We’re all fighting the battle for good in the Devil’s world. No one said it was going to be easy. If you give up now then that’s your loss. Think about all of the wars that have ended and changes that have been made throughout the years. If those people gave up think how our world would be.
If you're going to be mad about the outcome don't blame the people that voted for Trump. Blame the half of the country that didn't even bother to vote. Do you really think calling republican’s racists, sexists, homophobic, unintelligent, and foul names are really going to change anything? I don’t know about you, but I was raised to be the bigger person in every situation.
“To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also...” Luke 6:29
Recently there have been some very hateful posts and things that have been said to minorities. I have to ask though. After he won did Trump specifically tell people, “Hey everyone, it’s now okay to treat minorities with absolute disrespect.” Nope. In fact, on a "60 Minute" interview, Trump told his supporters to stop harassing minorities. I don’t condone the things that those people are doing, but it is them, and only them, that are choosing to do it. Trump is not the acting president yet so quit being so harsh on him. If he continues to let stuff like that happen after his inauguration, then you can blame it personally on him. I’m not saying you should just let yourselves be pushed around, but I think there are other ways to take a stance than saying sending hurtful tweets right back, stating your fear on social media, physically hurting others, or burning our nation's flag. I also don’t understand why you are scared when there are so many people in the same situation and so many people there to support you. You are not each alone so why are you acting like it?
Try to remember that we do not live in a dictatorship. In case you don’t recall, several original people apart of Trump’s campaign dropped because they didn’t agree with his views. Several republicans requested Trump to drop from the race all together. You can’t possibly believe that all republicans in the country agree with all of Trump’s crazy ideas. It’s just not true. We have a check and balance system for a reason. It is yet another thing that makes our country amazing so don’t worry. Try to remember that Trump is literally not going to get elected for a second term. If the Republicans can deal with a Democratic president for eight years I think you all can survive for four years. Try to remember that God is still in charge, and you can turn to Him for guidance.
