Mr. President sir, would you please reassure us?

4 Questions I Have For President Donald J. Trump
CNN

There are several issues I have with our new President, I won't be shy about that. I won't tell you he's #notmypresident because he is, whether or not I like it or not.

No, I'm here today to talk about some real things I need President Trump to clarify on and soon if at all possible. I, like many of you, recently read through the "issues" section of the new white house website, which you can read here . He has many good things listed here, but very little explanation for how these things will come about. Here are some questions I'd love to ask our new President.

1. The issue of Energy

President Trump, you mention that you will do away with the waters of the US rule, stating that it will benefit American workers; however, I am confused about how this rule is hurting Americans currently. The idea behind the rule is that we will allow the EPA to help protect American waters, I'm confused about why this bad. I'd love your clarification on this matter.

Another issue Mr. President is about using American shale and gas. You state that this will allow many Americans to have jobs and bring prosperity, however, this is an area of commerce that is highly unregulated. I not only know people who work in the oil fields, but my family itself has suffered first-hand from the under regulation of the companies involved in this business. Are there going to be changes made before we begin encouraging the use of this energy or will it remain the same?

You made no mention of renewable energy sources Sir, are there any in the works?

2. Making our military strong again

You propose a new budget for congress to look at that would increase our military and also benefit Veterans and give them real resources. I'd first like to say, I whole heartedly support the cause of taking care of our Veterans, however I am concerned about where this money is coming from. Where will we find the money we need to bring this about Mr. President?

3. Supporting our Law Enforcement

You say you want to lower crime rates, but there is no explanation of how this will be done. You also say we need to support our law enforcement officers, I again agree, but how are we going to do this? Are we going to turn a blind eye to corruption and not regulate them as well? There is a problem with the justice system currently, and this is an issue that needs to be addressed.

My question is, how are we going to support them? Are we going to provide more services to officers? Are we going to increase their pay? I'm truly curious about how you plan on making this happen Sir.

4. All of the rest of my questions

Sir, Betsy DeVos? I am confused. She claims to want to help the American Education system, which I support, I think there are many flaws in it, however she surely does not seem equipped for the job. I'd love to know your reasoning behind nominating her Sir. If we are giving our country back to citizens, why did you nominate a billionaire who frankly Sir, doesn't seem to understand anything about how the nation's education system works or the needs of the citizens nationwide. How does she represent the needs of the common family? Would it not be better to nominate someone who has experience in the school system, who has a vested interest in making sure that our children get the best education they can? Why would you choose someone who has made her money from lobbying. I'm just baffled by this Sir.

You have not mentioned how you plan on helping students yet. Student Debt is a beast, and so many Americans are starting out their adult lives as slaves to the lenders. What are you going to do about this? Help us, because this is surely not right.

You are repealing the Affordable Care Act, so what do you suggest take it's place? Would it not have been better to wait to repeal it until you had something to take its place. Millions are going to lose their converage, what are they going to do in its absence? I understand it wasn't a perfect system, but what will happen to those people?

SIr, how will you truly show everyone you are for the working class? So far we have seen a lot of talk and very little action, or even explanation about how this talk will come to fruition. How are you going to radically change the political status of this country when you are still playing by its elitist rules?

I don't wish to see you fail sir, for you are the president and this would lead to the destruction of our nation. I did not choose you, but now you are here, and I understand that. Please, Sir, show us how you plan to make our nation great again, because I, a common in debt American college student of many minorities, am scared, Sir. I do not feel safe and I beg of you to reassure us. Prove us wrong.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
