9 Questions I Have For La Salle University

I just have a few burning questions to get off my chest.

9 Questions I Have For La Salle University
College Startclass

While I love it here at La Salle, I do have a few things to ask.

1. Why does the shuttle only go one way?

Okay, I realize that there is a one way street and the shuttle literally can't go down it the opposite way, but what if there was a shuttle that took this route:

There could definitely be shuttle going the other way, and I wouldn't have to walk in the pouring rain down to south campus. A girl can dream, right?

2. Why does my favorite shower leak cold water from the ceiling?

It was the only shower that actually stayed hot the whole time and now it's ruined by cold droplets falling constantly.

3. Why did you change the ID policy?

I'm all for safety, but honestly this ID policy didn't really change anything other than making things more annoying and difficult for us.

4. Why is it hot in my room 24/7?

In the early fall and spring, it's hot because we don't have air conditioning, but why is it hot in the middle of the winter? Do you guys turn the heat up all the way? If so, why would you do that? Are you trying to roast us alive?

5. Why does the dining hall run out of ketchup so often?

Seriously, it's two weeks into the semester and they already ran out of ketchup.

6. Speaking of the dining hall, why is the online menu never right?

I actually used to look at the menu so I could decide whether or not to waste a meal swipe, but I've learned that the online menu is never right. What's the point in having one if it's wrong?

7. Why doesn't the Union serve breakfast anymore?

Asking for a friend.

8. Why don't you do Chef's Table anymore?

9. And why does the elevator in Wister Hall feel like it's going to break down at any moment?

Those stairs kill me every day, but that elevator makes me fear for my life. Maybe if I get stuck in it, I can use that as an excuse for missing class?

I'm sure, like me, many of you received lots of gift cards over the holidays. After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. Here are some times when you should be nicer to retail workers than you actually are!

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
