My nieces and nephews ask me all kinds of questions. Honestly, sometimes I don't know how to answer. But, when it comes to food or games, I always say yes. Here are just a few questions that they ask:

1. "Can we have ice cream?"

Of course we can have ice cream! We can put chocolate syrup on it too!

2. "Do we have to go to bed?"

Giphy

Yes, you have to go to bed. Unfortunately, your mommy won't be happy if I let you stay up all night.

3. "Is this my period?"

Giphy

Yes, this is your period. Let's have a talk about how to take care of it. BTW, welcome to womanhood!

4. "Can you buy me Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass?"

Giphy

I wish I could buy you everything you want. Unfortunately, your Auntie is also a college student and is just as broke as you are.

5. "Can you ask my Mom for me?"

Giphy

Okay, just because your Mom is my sister, doesn't mean she doesn't scare me. Her "Mom" look is killer.

6. "Do you want to go to the park?"

For some reason, my nephews ask me this question at the worst times. The past three times they have asked, it's been raining, snowing, or 9 p.m. Let's go on a nice day.

7. "Will you drive me to [insert friend name]'s house?"

Giphy

Did you ask your Mom first? Did she say it was OK? Will you need a ride home?

8. "Are you going to tell my Mom?"

Giphy

Depends what you did. Did you hit your brother? Did you eat ice cream before dinner?

9. "Can we play Mario Kart?"

Giphy

Is this even a question? Of course we can play Mario Kart!!

10. "Why do you have pimples?"

Giphy

You know, I don't know why I have pimples but just you wait, you'll get them too.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
