It was after the first "Iron Man" movie release in 2008 that the Marvel Cinematic Universe was propelled into action. This American franchise and fictional universe is centered around a multitude of superhero characters based on publications by Marvel Comics. The ground breaking and impressive success is untethered. With the Universe now in their "third phase" of films, Marvel has revolutionized the multimedia shared universe. It has inspired other film and television studios with comic book adaption rights to attempt to create similar shared universes. Yet nothing has matched what Marvel has created.
The Marvel franchise has impacted my life in the strangest of ways. Inspiring me to chase after experiences that makes me feel good and never stop dreaming. In 2011 and 2012, I flew from Hopatcong, New Jersey to San Diego, California to attend San Diego Comic Con. At SDCC I waited outside in the blistering California heat more than two hours to get a glimpse at never before seen footage and my favorite actors and inspirations. There I met many people I am still in contact with today and am able to make more friends by sharing my amazing and once-in-a-life-time experience.
Hopefully, you are a Marvel movie fan if you're reading this article. As a super fan of the franchise myself, I can not leave the movie theater without questioning my entire existence every time. The world that Marvel has created is incomparable to that of even it's rivals at D.C. Comics and what they have in store for fans going into the year 2019 has never been done before. The feels that are evoked during the experience of watching a Marvel movie cause me to question many aspects of the movie I just watched. I guarantee you've experienced it too, as all Marvel movies leave one with an opinion — good or bad. Keep reading to remember when you may have posed these same questions.
