I remember the early days, when everything and anything seemed to be possible — the A in chemistry, the B in calculus...You remember those days, don’t you? Well, those days are long gone and the reality is now that Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is only a week away. That means that the end of the fall semester is almost here and now it's “do or die” time. The following are signs that the end is near — at least the end of the semester.
1. You seem to be always running late.
2. You get stressed out about almost anything and everything.
3. Sometimes, you even forget about why you were stressing.
4. You constantly think about dropping out of college and living out of your car.
5. Your bank account is practically nonexistent from all those late-night Starbucks runs.
6. You have so much to do that it just can't be done.
7. You have memorized just about every possible grade you might end up with from your GPA calculator.
8. You begin to run out of any form of nutritious food so you just throw together whatever is available.
9. You and your friends have a system about who gets to skip class and who has to go and take notes.
10. You couldn't care less about what you wear in front of others.
11. You have taken the term "caffeine addict" to the extreme.
12. When people brag about how easy their classes are, you try to do your best not to hurt them.
13. After a long day of exams, all you want to do is...
Whether you are experiencing one of the signs that the end is near, or all thirteen, just remember “the end is near” and you can do it! It might take a lot of sleepless nights, endless cups of coffee, and a little bit of luck—but getting through the last few weeks of the semester with some degree of sanity and dignity can be done! And maybe that A is still attainable! Good luck!
