Amongst the deathly farts and tedious potty training, puppies have their way in making life easier for their owners.

Not only are they great for cuddling and always adorable, but they truly love to help out around the house. Here's a few daily chores and lifestyle challenges that are relived by the presence of a puppy.

1. Always having clean floors

Even more trustworthy than one of those automatic vacuums. Just make sure to drop something onto the kitchen tiles now and again to fuel their interest, and your best friend will be a reliable one.

2. A dependable alarm clock

When six o’clock in the morning rolls around, you might not have your mind on food but someone else does. Unfortunately, this alarm isn’t easily turned off by smacking the clock on your nightstand.

3. Clean socks

Nothing cleaner than invisible socks, right? Too bad if you already spent full price on dog toys.

4. Easy dieting

You didn’t want all of those fries, did you?

5. Involuntary Exercise

Suddenly your house has turned into a war zone between your feet and razor sharp puppy teeth. Run for your life…
