So I recently adopted a puppy. He's a perfect seven month old Australian Shepard Border Collie mix named Remi. He came to me knowing how to sit, stay, ask to go outside & gently take a treat from my hand. He is the sweetest little guy, but man everyone was right when they said puppies are like having toddlers.
1. He likes to cuddles but usually ruins it.
His life revolves around love and affection, but don't be fooled, he gets plenty of it. Cuddling is usually ruined by him being too hyper.
2. Activity is necessary.
A walk in the morning, playtime outside, an afternoon walk & a good chase around the yard should get out that extra energy.
3. If it's quiet, be suspicious.
The trashcan, the cat, your shoes, your pillows....all toys...when you aren't watching.
4. He attracts a lot of attention.
When we go out in public everyone wants to pet him. I mean I don’t blame them, he's cute and furry.
So he isn't exactly like a toddler but he does have some similar characteristics. With that being said, I wouldn't trade him for the world. He totally completes our little family.
