Puppies Are Always The Solution

Feeling stressed? Feeling sad? On the verge of a breakdown? Puppies can help with that.

Puppies Are Always The Solution

With the end of the semester quickly approaching, every college student can relate to that extremely stressful panic when they realize how many assignments they need to finish, on top of final exams. But there is one solution to all of these negative feelings that never fails to put a smile on people’s faces – puppies.

Using dogs for animal therapy is probably my favorite thing ever, because it is so effective and enjoyable for everyone involved. It’s amazing how even just looking at puppies can brighten people’s mood and help alleviate stress.

So in the midst of finals season, when every college student is on the verge of a breakdown, I give you puppies, because they make the world a much better place.

1. Puppies are fantastic because they love to play with each other, and they get extremely excited while doing so.

2. But, they don't discriminate; they like to play with other animals too. This puppy just wants to play with a cat.

3. This little puppy desperately wants to be a duckling.

4. And all this puppy wants to do is play with his baby human.

5. This adorable puppy desperately wants to play with his own reflection.

6. Playing with water makes this puppy extremely excited.

7. And this little puppy finds it entertaining to try to play with his human's camera.

8. After a long day of playing, this puppy finds comfort in being bathed by his human.

9. And, at the end of a hard day being a puppy, they love to cuddle with their humans (which makes us very, very happy as well).

Finals season sucks, a lot. But knowing that puppies exist in the world, and are always happy, makes it slightly more bearable.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
