Pumpkin Spice And Everything Nice

Let's be real — we all know October is the best time of the year. Here's why.

October is not only the beginning of fall, but the start of the Jewish New Year, a birthday month for many (hehe) and a really good excuse to OD on pumpkin flavored everything and put away that bathing suit.

Pumpkin. Flavored. Everything.

Between the Trader Joes “Pumpkin takeover” (which includes everything from tea, muffins and ravioli), Dunkin Donuts pumpkin munchkins and the infamous Starbucks PSL, the pumpkin options are endless.

Apple- and pumpkin-picking.

This is a great opportunity to step up your Instagram game and go a little too “hard” on the plaid. Make sure to get yourself some cider, a donut or BOTH if they're available at your farm of choice! (My personal favorite part).

Boot and vest weather.

Take advantage of the cooler temperature and spice up your wardrobe with a fun punch of color or a new pair of boots.

Fall foliage.

The perfect excuse to spend endless hours in a park, try a new hiking path or to simply sit outside with a pumpkin spice beverage.

Long weekends.

Before you hate on the cooler weather and make fun of those who embrace fall for all it has to offer, think about the several three-day weekends you get out of it. THANKS, FALL!

Football ~szn~

It's finally time to make that long awaited trip to visit your friend at his/her Big 10 school; maybe mom and dad will even cover the expense if you visit their alma matter.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
