10 Ways To Add Pumpkin Spice Into Your Life, Aside From Going To Starbucks

It's officially fall and you know what that means.

It's pumpkin season b*tches.

Now is the time when the pumpkin-obsessed can come out of hiding without shame and proclaim their love for all things pumpkin spice. I'd like to say I'm a day one pumpkin fan. Since I can remember, I've loved everything pumpkin flavored, my favorite being the timeless classic, pumpkin pie. Obviously, the game has evolved, and now we have #blessings like the world renown pumpkin spice latte from Starbs. But it doesn't just stop there. You can literally incorporate pumpkin spice into all aspects of your life. Here's how.

Pumpkin Spice Milk

Step aside plain, old boring milk. Pumpkin spice almond milk is here to stay, for a season at least. This milk is a win-win for dairy and non-dairy drinkers alike. It's super creamy and thick, and perfect for the season. Sadly it's only around during fall, so stock up!

Pumpkin Spice Granola

Along with your pumpkin spice milk, you can have pumpkin spice cereal/granola. It's a sweet treat and tastes good in just about anything, cereal, yogurt, on top of ice cream, you name it.

Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream (OMFG YASSS)

Speaking of ice cream... I'm screaming! I live for Halo top ice cream (the non-dairy flavors of course. #veganprobs) But the fact that they offer a seasonal pumpkin pie flavor is amazing. And also a perfect excuse to indulge in it.

Pumpkin Spice Protein Bars

You can even incorporate pumpkin spice into your workout routine! RX offers seasonal pumpkin spice bars, and they're an awesome post workout snack. But let's be honest, you can eat these bars anytime and any place. Post nap, post homework, you get it...

Pumpkin Spice Alcohol

Luckily pumpkin spice season aligns with tailgating season, and combining the two is a match made in heaven. There's pumpkin spice beer, vodka, and even cider! (Which is my personal favorite.)

Pumpkin Spice Lotion

Moving on from food, you can pumpkin spice-ify your beauty routine! Hempz pumpkin spice & vanilla chai body moisturizer will have your skin feeling soft, and smelling dreamy all day.

Pumpkin Spice Hand Soap

I love the smell of pumpkin spice. It's one of my favorite things about fall. If you love it too, and you're an obsessive hand washer like me, you're going to love this soap. It's perfect for the season, and smells absolutely delightful, obviously!

Pumpkin Spice Candle

As previously mentioned, one of my favorite things about pumpkin spice is the smell. It gives me such a warm and cozy fall feeling. So, you can bet that my apartment will be crawling with pumpkin spice candles. I get mine at Marshall's, but you can pretty much find pumpkin spice candles anywhere.

Pumpkin Spice Car Freshener

Did I mention I love the smell of pumpkin spice?! Not only can you make your apartment or dorm smelling amazing, but you can also make your car, too!

Pumpkin Spice Jewelry

Okay, I might be taking things too far but this bracelet is stinkin' cute, and I'm a sucker for jewelry. It being pumpkin spice color infused is really just an excuse for me to buy it.

That's all I can think of for now, and I'm sure you're probably sick of reading the words, "pumpkin spice," So, with that said. Happy pumpki... I mean fall!

P.S. If you can't find all of the products I've mentioned, no worries. There are loads of alternatives. Luckily, the world pretty much gets the pumpkin spice craze, so every store will have a pumpkin spiced something.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

As this semester wraps up, students can’t help but be stressed about finals. After all, our GPAs depends on these grades! What student isn’t worrying about their finals right now? It’s “goodbye social life, hello library” time from now until the end of finals week.
