It's fall which means that the pumpkin spice craze has officially has begun though Starbucks went ahead than most of us and brought their pumpkin spice latte (PSL) during the summer on August 28th. As a person who loves the season of fall I don't understand the craze people have for pumpkin spice, especially pumpkin spice lattes.
Last year while working at Starbucks I made myself a PSL and it tasted basic and disgusting. I don't get it how people like the taste of pumpkin spice, maybe my taste buds are not for it, but I do find it ridiculous how pumpkin spice has taken over the food industry and it has to stop. Here are some examples of how pumpkin spice has taken over our world.

Pumpkin spice has gotten out of hand in, but the smell of it brings nostalgia. People love the taste of pumpkin spice because they love the idea that fall has begun and that the holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are on their way. I guess I get it then because who doesn't like the holidays!
