15 Ways Pugs Are Exactly Like Humans

Everyone loves pugs. From their goofy and loving personalities, their snuggles, and their cute squished faces. Pugs are more like humans than you think. Pugs don't get enough credit in the dog world, so here are 15 ways that pugs are exactly like humans, told by my pug, Romeo.

1. Make mistakes

Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has those days...even pugs. It's how you deal with that mistake you made afterwards that really matters. Own up to it, you're human (or a pug).

2. Cheers on their favorite team

Who doesn't have a favorite sports team that they love to cheer for? People AND pugs have favorite teams, and it so happens that Romeo's favorite team is UND.

3. Dresses up

Romeo says, "Top of the morning to ya!" Dressing up is always fun, on any occasion. People and pugs dress up for parties, going out with friends, or even just to look pretty.

4. When your friends tell you they are here, and you just got out of the shower

Everyone is guilty of being that one friend that's always late. You could be ready, but you always end up sitting in your towel for an hour staring at the wall.

5. Photo-bombs pictures

Everyone loves a good photo-bomb, pugs are even guilty of this. If you're in the right position at the right time, it's always a funny thing to do.

6. Procrastinates

Procrastination is one thing that every person is guilty for. Even pugs are guilty of this, see just look at the picture!

7. Takes candid pictures but low-key poses for them

We all know that most candids are planned. Romeo just so happens to be the candid king. Pugs do candids better than humans, in my opinion.

8. Eats ice cream

People and pugs both LOVE ice cream.

9. Loves baby snuggles

Baby cuddles are the best. Humans and pugs can enjoy them. What's cuter than a pug and baby cuddling with one another?

10. Drives a car

They don't really drive cars, but they sure do love to think they do. Car rides are always a favorite of theirs, especially if they are sitting on their humans laps in the drivers seat.

11. Cuddle buddies

Pugs are the best cuddle buds, just like humans. They love to be right next to you and fall asleep.

12. Hangs out with friends

Everyone has friends, even pugs. Dogs even fight with their friends like humans do. Then they make up and become friends again.

13. Is goofy

Pugs are the best at being goofy. That's one of the best personality traits they have!

14. Sunbathes

Summer is approaching and who doesn't love to sit outside in the warm weather and catch the rays!

15. Takes naps

Lots and lots of naps! What person doesn't love a nap? Pugs definitely love their naps throughout the day.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
