The Nightmare

Every time this nightmare starts I am stranded in the ocean, nothing in sight but the dark waters and the stars rotating in the sky. Soon everything goes still, no more waves, the life raft stops rocking, and it is silent.

Suddenly an arm like Grendel's flies out of the water and grabs me by the neck pulling me under, down to the sea bed where there are gorilla-sized cages stacked up like a shipyard, all of them full of mutated creatures somewhat reminding me of The Island of Dr. Moreau.

I swim near and around the cages not wanting to take my eyes off the creatures. Then I get to one in the middle its, hiding in the dark corner of the cage. My curiosity pulls me close to the cage to try to get a better look.

A hand comes out and grabs me by the neck. I notice it's the same arm that pulled me down the depths of the ocean. I can't see the face or the rest of the body. It pulls me against the cage trying to fit me through the gaps in the bars. I struggle for what feels like an eternity.

Then I hear a piercing screech coming from the cage and I am let go, slowly floating to the surface. But I never reach the surface, I always wake up before I get there.

Now, what if my dream was interpreted by a professional Psychic?

Starting off in the ocean means I am entering a sad time in my life. The dark waters and waves indicate I will soon be in turmoil and that danger is heading my direction.

The rotating stars tell me I will be entering formidable danger and trying times.

Being pulled underwater will cause me to make bitter mistakes and I will suffer from the grief of those mistakes.

Being grabbed by the neck and pulled underwater tells me I need to overcome my fears in order to reach my goals.

Swimming underwater around the cages foretells struggle and anxiety is soon to come.

Seeing the cages and the creatures in them forebode as well as I will triumph over enemies and miss fortune.

Struggling against the creature in the cage sees me coming up against serious difficulties.

Finally, floating up to the surface but never reaching the top forecasts that I will overcome obstacles that seem overwhelming but the victory will not be gratifying.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
