This is not a drill taco belles. Suddenly our world is brighter and our stomachs are happier thanks to Taco Bell CEO Brian Niccol. The patron saint of taco lovers everywhere stated that a delivery service is in the works, but in order to do the establishment justice, Taco Bell must first perfect the system.
According to NRN Niccol claims that this consumer request is one of the most popular and that Taco Bell has to "make sure we can give them an experience that's consistent with Taco Bell, and that's what we're working through." Spoken like a true service expert.
Issues like soggy tacos, cold chalupas and crunched chips will all be worked out during the test runs promised by the restaurant. When can we expect these ground breaking innovations to take place? Niccol promises "some form of delivery will be in test by late this year." We will soon be witnessing delivery history my fellow crunch wrap connoisseurs.
You may be asking, "Why are you so excited about this? It's just cheap delivery food." Well, it's not. It is the beginning of a new fast food revolution. This new phase will mean more jobs, more satisfied stomachs, and more convenient means of getting our hungry hands on price friendly food.
So sit tight everyone, and watch Taco Bell continue to make our community a happier place.
