If you would have asked me in high school if I was going to be a sorority girl I would have said absolutely no. I never would have guessed I would even be in a sorority, let alone the largest women's fraternity in the world. I just didn't think it was for me. I guess it was due to the fact that I’m the first person to go to college in my family, and the first person with Greek Life experience for that matter so I didn’t really know what to expect. Not until after recruitment did I realize that this is where I was meant to be.
I am proud to be a Chi Omega!
I truly believe that God has blessed me with the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing family. To me it is not just about being a girl that wears the letters or "throws what you know" for Instagram pictures galore.
Being a Chi Omega means connecting with someone who you would've never thought you'd ever talk to at all, and then she'll end up being your best friend.
Being a Chi Omega is being considered a mentor to someone who says they inspire you, but in reality they inspire you every single day.
Being a Chi Omega is being involved in philanthropy and being able to say I've helped make a difference in someone's life, and made someone’s wish come true (GO MAKE-A-WISH).
Being a Chi Omega is motivation to keep my grades the best I can and having girls beside me cheering me on and congratulating me for getting an A on a test they know I studied SO hard for.
Being a Chi Omega is a privilege.
I am so honored to be a part of Chi Omega. There is so much more to a sorority than I could have ever imagined and I cannot even begin to explain how blessed I am for the friendships I've made not only through Chi Omega, but through all of Greek life. I became a part of something so much bigger than myself, and for that I am forever grateful.
