Los resultados de las elecciones han causado mucha oposición.

El jueves una protesta fue organizada por estudiantes, pero apoyada por varios departamentos de la universidad. Esta protesta se tomó acabo después de que se anunciaron los resultados de las elecciones estadounidenses el 8 de noviembre a favor de Donald Trump. Aunque la demografía de la escuela no sea tan diversa, lo que nos une a todos los estudiantes son los principios para una comunidad con igualdad que la escuela a adoptado para crear un mejor ambiente de aprendizaje. Inclusividad es una parte muy grande de esos principios y por eso algunos estudiantes nos unimos en solidaridad no solo para protestar sino también para apoyarnos los unos a los otros como seres humanos. Estudiantes sostenían pancartas con palabras de aliento como “We’re all hombres,” que significa todos somos hombres pero está haciendo burla de Trump cuando dijo en un debate que había “bad hombres” o malos hombres en Estados Unidos por la inmigración. Esta protesta con estudiantes y miembros de la administración escolar fue una demostración de nuestra frustración y miedo por el próximo presidente, Trump.
