One of my post-workout favorites, this smoothie bowl will fill you up, while giving you lasting energy with healthy and energizing protein.
Recipe:
1 banana (preferably frozen)
1/2 cup of ice
1/3 cup of oats
1 scoop of protein powder (preferably vanilla)
1/4 cup powdered peanut butter
sprinkle of cinnamon
Blend the items above until you have a nice thick base. * Tip: blend the ice before you add the other ingredients* Add the following toppings: granola, your favorite berries, and cut up slices of banana. Drizzle agave nectar on top for some extra sweetness! (substitute for honey, an all natural sweetener). Practice with various fruits and veggies to make your own smoothie bowls at home, instead of purchasing ridiculously priced ones!
