- It’s fun to create different things
- You get to taste all of the new flavors
- You end up being able to list off whats in literally any ice cream and you feel like an ice cream connoisseur
- Helps you be fast and precise
Cons:
- People can get real salty if you don’t sell the flavor they're looking for
- Going along with that, people really like their hot fudge and get upset when you run out
- People don't know how to read. they always ask for something you don't have or think a topping is an ice cream flavor even though its clearly labeled on the menu
- Big parties that come in and give you NO tip. You just spent $30 on ice cream, one buck isn't gonna hurt.
- People often times only say what flavor they want but no other details about their order. What size? cup or cone? what kind of cone?
- ^When you ask all of those questions they get overwhelmed
- When you ask if they want a sugar or plain cone and they say “regular”. But which one is YOUR regular?
- That one person who orders a milkshake when there’s a huge line of people behind them.
- Also, people who sample every single flavor you have with a huge line of people behind them
- When people yell at you for giving them too much ice cream. Sorry I'm giving you your moneys worth? sorry I'm giving you the GIFT of ice cream?
- Parents and kids always fight about who gets what and what size and you never know who to listen to, the parents or the kids
- People throw all of their orders at you at once
- When you’’re clearly helping a group of people but a person from another group yells their order at you
- When people make a hand gesture and say “we’re all together” but there’s 20 other people spread out in the store. Okay, but which ones?
- At the end out the day you will find sticky ice cream all over you
- It hurts your wrist and knuckles after scooping all day
