Traveling is all about exploring, journeying, and socializing. Most of us are often struck with the popular term—wanderlust. Some of us like to travel alone and others with our families or friends. However, when one's traveling all by him/herself, it becomes an experience of a lifetime.

1. Con: Everything is on you

Everything you do, everywhere you go, anyhow you go... it's all your choice and decision. You'll have no one to blame or rely on.

2. Pro: Everything is on you!

No one gets to command you to go to a certain place or do a certain thing in a certain way. It's your way or no way!

3. Con: No one to talk to

You'll probably get bored at some point in time while traveling all by yourself and not getting to talk to someone you know.

4. Pro: No one to talk to!

Even though you might not have similar faces around, you can always talk to new people, make new friends, and who knows, you might find your life-partner that way!

5. Con: Not being sure of the roads

Traveling alone can be risky at times because new places mean new roads and new roads mean new memory. So it's very normal to forget the roads and get lost.

6. Pro: Not being sure of the roads!

When you don't have anyone close around while traveling, you are not responsible for anybody else. So, who do you think are you going to lose or get lost from? ABSOLUTELY NOBODY! You'll take a new way and probably explore more than you would have if you had come with someone you know.

7. Con: Can't decide between foods

When you're traveling alone, you might not be sure of what to eat and when. There will be no one to help you with cooking, either.

8. Pro: Can't decide between foods!

When you're confused or helpless about food choices while you're traveling, it can be a good advantage to your travel experience. You can then go try the traditional foods at the most traditional places at the location of your trip.

9. Con: You may face random challenges

While you're traveling alone, you may face difficulties or challenges which you haven't faced before and you may feel troubled.

10. Pro: You may face random challenges!

Traveling alone is given to have unexpected challenges thrown at you. This means it's time to learn and fight back. Traveling by yourself definitely helps with becoming more independent and accepting.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
