Pokemon Go. The newest installment in the Pokemon saga and the first one that brings Pokemon to your front door. Literally. By now, there is no way you haven't heard of it. I bet your Facebook feed is full of pictures of your dweeb friends bragging about their gym wins and their large assortment of pocket monsters. If you debating on whether or not to download this game, I've made a list of some pros and cons.
Pro: It is an incentive for you to get out of your basement and go for a walk. Not only that, but this game encourages trainers to visit their city's parks and landmarks to find gyms and Pokestops. It's making exercise great again.
Con: It will drain your battery. It does have a battery saver option that really does help, but it still uses a lot of battery.
Pro: It's Pokemon in your life. Not just on the screen of your Gameboy or DS but through the screen of your phone, Pokemon appear in real life. Not to mention, the animation is like having your own Pokemon.
Con: Since it is very popular right now and many people are trying to play it, the network keeps crashing. This is just something we are going to have to live with for now.
Pro: While it does take battery life, it does not take much data. This is very important as most of the time you will be searching for Pokemon far away from your wifi.
Pro: You get to claim your territory. When you beat a gym, you claim that territory for your team. There are three teams available to choose from. They are inspired by the legendary birds.
Conclusion: Download it, play it and catch 'em all.
