PRO #1: It’s a fun time.

CON #1: Crowds, getting lost, and transportation.

“There’s a lot of people. A LOT. Especially in the builds, which is where you spend a lot of your time if you are under 21. So if you struggle with anxiety and crowds you should definitely think about that one.”

“Getting walkie-talkies was everyone’s idea this year. I didn’t even use mine. The channels kept changing and I was picking up other groups’ conversations. And even when I was hearing the right one, it was all muffled and I couldn’t hear properly.”

“Transportation is another issue. It kind of sucks. The buses are never scheduled on time.”

PRO #2: Possible free stuff.

"Tents give out free stuff a lot of times. There's also alcohol and food if your build provides it."

Con #2: If you are under 21, you still need to watch out for the fuzz.

“There are cops there, they DO go into the builds, and they DO check for wristbands, which were yellow this year. If you're smart about it, you’ll be watching. So if you see a cop and you’re not 21, don’t be obvious about it, but just drop your beer. If you’re 21, your pretty much good to go, so long as you’re not out of control and throwing yourself around and giving them a reason to get you for public intoxication.”

PRO #3: Most fraternities and men’s organizations let you wander the builds (especially if you are a lady).

“Yeah, most builds don’t really care what you do. They are pretty easygoing, especially towards the end of the night.”

“(As a guy) You need to know a few guys from another chapter pretty well to be able to get into their build.”

CON #3: Some... don’t.

“Oh yeah. (For some frats/men’s organizations) it's very exclusive, even for girls. Like, it doesn’t matter what your gender is. If you don’t have a wristband, you aren’t getting in.”

“It's nothing personal. There’s limited space in every build and we just wanna make sure that everyone who paid and made it all happen gets to enjoy it.”

Overall, it's worth going at least once.

“You should go at least once because it is fun in the end. The music is nice, and it’s a fun event. That being said, pick your group wisely, because you don’t want your friends leaving you in the middle of nowhere. Pick your build and do what you want. They’re all the same concept, really.”

“Even if you don’t drink it's still exciting just to go and see the debauchery that occurs.”

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
