So I've been Harry Potter obsessed for as long as I can remember. So much so, that when The Deathly Hallows Part 2 ended, I had to be dragged out of the theater. I didn't want to leave because I didn't want it to be over. But all good things have to come to an end, right? WRONG! J.K. Rowling has blessed us with so much more, whether it be small posts on Pottermore, The Cursed Child, or even simple tweets. I am forever grateful for this woman and the world she created where we can all escape to. And here she's done it again with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. When I first heard that this was being made into a film, I cried a bit. We were going to have another movie filled with the magic we loved. But then, it was announced that we weren't only going to have one movie, BUT FIVE. Greatest news ever. The only problem now was finding the perfect Newt Scamander. They finally settled on Eddie Redmayne, and after seeing the movie (WHICH WAS SO GOOD- IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET THEN YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD), I can agree that Eddie is the perfect Newt. So to test this case, here's ten times he proved it...
1. When he was asked to give his best pick-up line and he gave us this...
2. When he discussed with Ellen that he didn't really care that he thought he only signed a contract for one movie...
3. When he wanted to take a picture but needed better lighting
4. When he took said picture, and then had the best response
5. When he showed that he's a proud Hufflepuff
6. When he explained the film and how magical Jo is
7. When a fan gave him a Bowtruckle and it was the greatest thing to ever happen to him
8. When he showed that he was just as Harry Potter obsessed as the rest of us
9. When he had the same reaction that we all would have when he got his wand
10. And finally, when he sent out a PSA on why Hufflepuffs really do deserve more credit...

Newt is beautifully awkward. Eddie is beautifully awkward. Good job casting directors.
