I’m Pro-Life Because Killing Your Own Baby Should Never Be A Choice

Those babies you're aborting will never get those chances because you think it's "just a clump of cells."

So recently, our youth group has been provided with the opportunity to go to the pro-life march in Washington D.C. in January and I am so excited I might be able to be a part of this, but I've been seeing this topic a lot in social media and politics and I've been thinking a lot about it and I've decided to stand up for what I believe in and be proud of it.

All I hear all the time is how a baby isn't considered a life until it is born. Well, why is it that I would go to jail and get a huge fine for smashing a bald eagle or turtle egg but I could abort my child and no one would bat an eye? Those babies can't speak for themselves, they have no voice. Who are you to get to make that choice for them? They will be people just like the rest of us, no matter how small. You were given the chance to live on this earth. Why should you get to be here if your baby can't? Why is it fair for you to be born and given a chance at life if you're not going to give your own child a chance?

If you're having sex, you know that the outcome of that is possibly a baby. You make a conscious decision to have sex and if you wind up pregnant, that is your responsibility now, you knew the outcome of that situation. We all know what sex leads to and if you end up getting pregnant, who gives you the right to abort your own child? If you can't care for the child, give it up for adoption — there are lots of parents who can't have kids who would gladly adopt.

It's my belief each and every baby has a whole outline for its whole life as soon as the sperm enters the egg. Their eye color, hair color, height, weight, and gender are all planned out in that exact second the sperm reaches the egg.

And I believe that if you have an abortion, you are killing them.

That they are people, too.

That they deserve the right to live just like you do.

That they're not just fetuses or clumps of cells.

That they are already growing into babies and those cells are that baby's whole life plan.

You were once that “clump of cells" and look at you now, you are a whole human person with a life. But people are aborting thousands of babies left and right and we've grown so immune to it that we're all becoming numb to the situation. Babies are aborted every day and we allow it.

The most common thing pro-choice people say is, "it's the mother's body and her decision." Well, guess what? THAT BABY IS NOT HER BODY! IT IS A COMPLETELY SEPARATE HUMAN! YOU DONT GET TO MAKE A CHOICE FOR THAT BABY! You aren't even giving them a chance to stand up for themselves. If you don't want to get pregnant then don't be stupid, there are so many options of contraception available at our fingertips, USE THEM IF YOU'RE WORRIED. Or just don't have sex, it's that simple.

Think about all the amazing things you've done in your life, whether you just graduated high school or college, just got married or engaged, or just moved out you've made amazing accomplishments and so many people are proud of you. You have friends and family and a voice to say whatever you like because we live in this amazing country where we have free speech and those babies you're aborting will never get those chances because you think it's “just a clump of cells."

So, yes. I am a pro-life Catholic and always will be. 👼🏻❤️

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
